Alloy Transit Case for An Electrical Switchboard

AXIS designed a custom alloy transit case providing sturdy construction and professional aesthetics suitable for long-term use and road transit. A split hood design enabled easy manual opening for switchboard display at exhibitions without requiring lifting equipment.

Recessed handles and latches were incorporated to minimise the risk of damage during transport while maintaining a clean external profile. The switchboard was securely anchored to the base using heavy-duty ratchet straps connected to floor-mounted hooks and high-strength bolts, ensuring the equipment remained stable throughout transit.

To improve handling efficiency, external steel forklift pockets were integrated into the base of the case, providing safe and stable lifting during loading, unloading, and repositioning. The completed design delivered a durable, reusable transport solution that combined excellent cargo protection with practical functionality, enabling the switchboard to be transported safely, displayed professionally, and reused across numerous exhibitions and road transport operations.
