Custom Built Crate for International Transportation of a Motorbike

AXIS designed a custom timber crate with quick disassembly features for efficient motorbike loading. Dunnage prevented forward and rearward movement, while protective blankets safeguarded the bike’s surfaces as it was securely strapped into position within the crate.

After loading, the crate sides were reassembled and additional packing materials were installed to enhance protection during international transit. The lid was then secured, and the entire structure reinforced with metal strapping to provide additional strength and stability throughout handling and shipping.

Every aspect of the crate was engineered to minimise movement and absorb the stresses associated with international freight. The removable side panels simplified loading while reducing handling risks, and the carefully positioned restraint system ensured the motorcycle remained stable from departure through to final delivery. The result was a durable, export-ready packaging solution that provided reliable protection without adding unnecessary weight or complexity.
