GreenVCI® GVP100-B is an eco-friendly corrosion inhibitor designed to safeguard both ferrous and non-ferrous metals from rust and corrosion, as well as scale buildup. Operating by creating a thin protective layer on the metal surface, it effectively shields against oxidization for up to 2 years, enduring in both wet and dry conditions, including saltwater environments.

Method of Application

  • Ensure the surface is clean by eliminating any oil, grease, and minor rust spots.
  • Apply the VCI powder evenly using methods such as an air gun, dusting, fogging, or sprinkling.
  • After application, seal the item to prevent airflow and safeguard the item with the VCI layer.
  • To remove the powder, simply utilize a low-pressure air gun or rinse it with water, without the need for complicated processes.

GVP100-B is engineered to deter scaling and inhibit corrosion during the hydrostatic testing of heat exchangers, pipes, and boilers.

Packaging and Storage

Packaging options for VCI powder are available in various sizes, including 10kg pails, 25kg woven kraft bags, or sachets ranging from 2.5g to 100g, ensuring adaptability to your specific requirements. When delivered in sealed packaging and shielded from direct sunlight and moisture, the product maintains an estimated shelf life of two years. Proper storage at room temperature is essential to uphold the effectiveness of the VCI powder packaging over time.
